For my face swatch below, I actually used very little product because the color is simply too orange on me! I'm not quite sure how orange the undertone is suppose to be but the shade never fully adjusted to my own skin tone. This self-adjusting universal shade has a very noticeable orange tint to it. Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream in "Anti-Fatigue": ![]() It works well under foundation or alone and. L'Oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream in Anti-Redness I use the loreal bb cream for anti-redness mainly to cover up my rosacea and Ive been using this for years now. I don't experience a whole lot of redness but I do believe the subtle green will help neutralize that. The shade worked very well on me as it self-adjusted to a shade very close to "Light". This self-adjusting universal shade has a very subtle light green tint to it. Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream in "Anti-Redness": (original) L'Oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream in Light "Light" has fairly neutral undertones and because the coverage is not super opaque, this shade will probably work for NC/NW 15-25. I am NC20 and this shade fits me perfectly. ![]() Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream in "Light": With that said though, I think it can work really well for those with dry skin because it is very hydrating. The finish is a bit dewy and I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin just because I feel like the product never fully sets and doesn't cling very well to the skin. I do like the coverage of the formulation, despite it being so lightweight, the product provides buildable medium coverage. I think this is great if you want something really light and breathable but for someone like me (acne prone skin with acne scars), the formulation is too thin and doesn't do much to even out bumps and dips. The L'Oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream has probably one of the lightest formulation amongst all the BB Creams I've tried. It has a thin and elongated spout that allows you to dispense just the right amount of product, no mess whatsoever! The BB Creams come in a long squeeze tube. Smooths skin texture, evens out skintone, and hides imperfections Ultra-light lotion formulation infused with vitamin C & E It’s pretty good for larger areas that need to be corrected, I would stick with a thicker correcting concealer for smaller problem areas.-BB Cream with Beautifying Beads (encapsulated pigments) that melts upon application and adjust to natural skin tone My redness is gone for the rest of the day. Because it is a bit darker than my skin, I cover it up with something else (usually foundation or concealer, but whatever I’m using that day works). ![]() I rub it around and it becomes more skin toned, and my redness goes away. So, I put a small pump of this green lotion on the back of my hand, then lightly dot it where I have redness. However, it still color corrects! It is magic. The interesting thing about this color corrector is that the light lotion comes out of the tube green, but as you rub it in, it turns into a more skin tone color (yes, it is much too dark to be a good color match for me). It’s pretty easy to turn your whole face green! It’s great! However, you really should only color correct in the problem areas. The great thing about color correcting is that it cancels out your problem color, and in return you get to use a lot less traditional coverage product, whether that is concealer, foundation or regular BB Cream. Instead, I’m going to suck it up and see what happens after I deliver. I’m hesitant to seek anything “more” for my rosacea since I’m about 30 weeks pregnant, and when I’m not pregnant I’m under great control. I do have some redness, I have rosacea and I have good days and bad days. (Read more about color correction makeup.) Yes, using green (and yellow, though that doesn’t work as well as green) on your face will “cancel” any redness. The whole idea behind this product is color correction.
